Landbased Project in Germany

Black Wendland is an afrocentric, transformative and ecological land project based in rural Germany. Rooted in afrofuturism, reparative justice, and abolitionism, the initiative seeks to reclaim space for Black people in the countryside — an area historically inaccessible due to racism, classism, and colonial legacies.

The project started in 2021 with a gathering and has developed with funding and legal structures. We are in the land acquisition stage and appreciate support in form of financial donations, funding recommendations and expertise from Black architects, builders, project managers, book keepers, organizers etc.
